It si located on a distance of 130 km from Hawana on the coast of Atlantic Ocean. Her beaches stretch for 20 km, and are protected with the biggest coral reefs of Caribbean Sea.       Varadero - is a peninsula in the northern part of Cuba, a long narrow streak of earth.       Continuous nice sandy beach, chosen by Americans and now built up with 4 and 5 star hotels. There is a police post at the entrance to Varadero - passengers are examined as Cubans are not allowed to cross this "border" between tourist paradise and other world.       It is easy to get from Varadero to Guamana, where is steel located existing settlement of Cuban Indians. Moreover there are the greatest nursery of crocodiles in America, and a short way to the Pina deli Rio, where the best cigars are made.       Varadero is washed by Atlantic Ocean. Her coats are in the row of the cleanest beaches in the world. Fabulous sea depths with its inhabitants won't leave indifferent any divers. More then that there is some different marine entertainment as like "water safari"- simply the tour on an underwater of common boat with transparent floor, so that all marine inhabitants, miraculous carrels, and mysterious depths can be explored.       Beaches are considered the main attraction of Varedeo, however there are some old builds which deserve to be admired. They are: Fuerto Eapaniola- two stored Spanish fort, built in 1897 which now a days is proper owned.       Also very beautiful church Santa Elvira built in a colonial style.       Moreover the national museum of Varadera, located in a big two storey building in a village of Dypo.       There are items of Indians heritage and culture. Here you can find first maps of the peninsula Hicacos, first primitive pictures of it, and find the role of Varadero in a war of Cube independence.       Also you can visit the cave Ambrosia, with its mysterious and strange wall pictures, or national park which is a very lovely place for a calm rest.       For example the cave la Cueva de Ambrosia- it is famous for Indian pictures, where there are painted solar schedule. It used to be a safety place for the fugitive slaves chased by government tribes.       As a good example of the place where you can spend you time admiring the beauty of this magnificent island is the national park of Varadero. There in this park can be find its main natural wealth- enormously gigantic cactus El Patriarca. And finally on a distance of 5 km can be found a dolphinarium. A place, which is loved not only by children but also by their parents. There you can be not only like a spectator, but also just for a few dolors you can take photo with dolphins or also swim with them.       Add to these good restaurants, night clubs and amazing sunsets and you will see, that the better place of rest you won't find.
