    Cuba food is known by its variety and difficulty in cooking. In Cuban cuisine predominate dishes from roast on grill or stew on ceramic pots meat. They eat supper and dinner obligatory with vegetables. Due to that sea is very close to them ocean fish is one of national dishes. They cook it on live coals in a special way which depends on what fish do they catch. Also they love dough.

Cuba climate    They like cookies, pasta, buns- all this is mainly similar to European baking. This is because of variety of citizens from all over the world. Boiled pasta with cheese, stew meat and tomatoes is one of the most popular dish on the island Cuba. In every bar you can order a poultry or wild bird, roasted on a spit with green peas and be sure it will taste good.

   The national dish is called "ahiako criolio" - chowder, which has different variety. Its main ingredient is different vegetables and roots, which are cooked with different meat. The top of Cuban dishes is white rice cooked with colored beans they call it "kongri". From color of rice depends the name of dish. When they use black rice they call it "arros moro". And be careful when you order one ore another dish because thy new why they call two approximately the same dishes with different names. Tastes differ.

   Baked bananas originate from African slaves who were brought in Cuba by different conquistadors. When you will see the dish called Fufu- you will understand that these are bananas with different ingredients. Chatinos - light snack which came with aperitif. You can enjoy cheap and yummy fresh juice.

   Your children will be pleased to hear about delicious ice-cream Coppelia. And you can enjoy good Cuban coffee. Cuban coffee is very strong and sweet. You can find many cafe houses whose owner is typical Cuban man with long and thick cigar in mouth and tan face. Be sure he will be very pleased you came in his cafes. He will try to impress you with his best coffee. Care and attention you will find in every Cuban man no matter you will ask help in hotel or on the streets. May be their hospitality came from sleeves who were ancestors of modern Cubans. They put a lot of sugar in their coffee so may be because of these they are so polite.

   Usually they drink wine after supper or dinner. Often they drink aperitif before dinner and snake which is roast cheese. Their best aperitif is rum Kanelazos. They put 30g of cinnamon and 5 grams of clove in a bottle of rum. Actually rum is one of the famous alcohol drinks. These came from pirates who thousands sailed in Caribbean Sea. The famous rum brand is called Havana Club. There are three different types of it Carta Oro- gold one, Carta Blanca - white, and Anejo - old. They differ in their exposure. Cuban mostly prefers rum Anejo. It cost 8$ for bottle. For dessert they eat fruits and drink strong coffee.
